Ingredients

1 (180 g) pack MAGNOLIA PANCAKE AND WAFFLE MIX, batter for waffles prepared according to package directions
2 pc ripe bananas, sliced
2 scoops MAGNOLIA ICE CREAM BEST OF THE PHILIPPINES MANGOES AND CREAM
CARAMEL SAUCE:
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp corn syrup or honey
1 (250 mL) pack MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE CREAM
2 tbsp DARI CRÈME MARGARINE CLASSIC

Procedure

1.       Heat waffle maker or iron then pour 1/4 of the batter. Cook until golden brown. Do the same with the rest of the batter. Let waffles cool slightly.

2.       Caramel Sauce: Combine sugar and syrup in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until sugar melts and color turns amber. Stir in cream. Mix well. Turn off heat then add margarine.

3.       Assemble: Stack 2 pieces of waffles then top with banana slices. Top with a scoop of ice cream then drizzle with caramel sauce on top. Do another plate with the same components. Serve.

 

Makes 2 servings.
