Ingredients

1 (210 g) can PUREFOODS CHORIZO BILBAO STYLE
1 kg MONTEREY GROUND BEEF
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup fine bread crumbs
1 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGG, slightly beaten
1 cup chopped white onions
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp minced garlic
2 tsp iodized fine salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp prepared mustard

Procedure

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Place chorizo in a food processor until coarsely chopped. Transfer to a bowl and mix with beef, 3/4 cup of tomato sauce, bread crumbs, egg, onion, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, garlic, salt and pepper. Place mixture into a 10 x 4 inch loaf pan.
  3. In another bowl, combine brown sugar, mustard and remaining tomato sauce. Mix well.
  4. With a pastry brush, brush mixture on surface of meat loaf.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
