Ingredients

1 whole PUREFOODS FIESTA HAM BONE-IN SPIRAL, thawed
GLAZE:
3 tbsp tamarind paste
4 tsp finely chopped garlic
1 tbsp ginger juice
1 tsp chili flakes
2 tbsp vinegar
1?4 cup honey
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
iodized fine salt to taste

Procedure

1.      Unwrap ham then transfer to a serving dish.

2.   In a saucepan, combine tamarind paste, garlic, ginger juice, chili flakes, vinegar, honey and soy sauce and brown sugar. Mix well. Simmer for 3-5 minutes. Strain glaze. Transfer glaze back into saucepan and continue to cook until thick. Season with salt.

3.      Pour hot glaze on ham. Garnish, if desired, then serve.

 

Makes 10 to 15 servings.
