Ingredients

BALLS:
1/2 kg MONTEREY GROUND PORK
150 grams PUREFOODS COOKED HAM, chopped
2 tbsp chopped spring onions
1/4 cup MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
iodized fine salt and pepper to taste
SOUP:
2 tbsp MAGNOLIA NUTRI-OIL PALM OLEIN
1/4 cup chopped onions
2 tbsp chopped garlic
1/2 cup diced carrots
1/4 cup diced celery
1/4 cup snow peas (tsitsaro), cut into pieces
2 pc chicken bouillon cubes, dissolved in 4 cups water
2 tbsp cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup water
iodized fine salt and pepper to taste

Procedure

1.      In a bowl, combine ground pork, ham, spring onions, flour, salt and pepper. Form into balls. Set aside.

2.      In a saucepan, heat oil. Add onions, garlic, carrots, celery and snow peas. Cook until vegetables are tender. Add chicken broth. Bring to a boil then reduce to simmer. Thicken with cornstarch mixture. Season to taste and serve.

 

Makes 4 to 6 servings.
