Ingredients

1/2 cup MAGNOLIA NUTRI-OIL
1 pc medium onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
5 pc PUREFOODS STAR HOTDOGS REGULAR, sliced
1/2 kg okra, trimmed and sliced
400 grams tomatoes, chopped
2 pc large bananas (lakatan), sliced
1/4 kg shrimps, cleaned, peeled and deveined (sliced into 2)
2 tbsp lemon or calamansi juice
iodized fine salt and cayenne pepper to taste
1 cup water

Procedure

1.      Heat oil in a saucepan and sauté onion and garlic over low heat. Add hotdogs and mix well. Add okra and cook over low heat for 2 minutes. Add tomatoes and bananas and mix thoroughly. Simmer over moderately low heat for 5 minutes.

2.      Add shrimps and lemon juice then season with salt and cayenne pepper. Add water and let simmer until shrimps are pink and firm, about 10 minutes.

 

SERVING SUGGESTION:

You may serve this as topping on steamed rice.
