A vegetable salad with carefully chosen ingredients to give it a more asian feel. It is topped with spicy beefy goodness, this salad will surely be "the bomb" on the dinner table.

Ingredients

DRESSING:
3 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tbsp light soy sauce
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tbsp corn or canola oil
1 tsp sesame oil
VEGETABLES:
1/2 cup julienned singkamas
1/2 cup julienned carrots
1 (150 g) head iceberg lettuce, shredded
TOPPING:
350 grams MONTEREY MEATSHOP SPICY BEEF STRIPS, cooked according to package directions
1/2 cup fried tofu strips
2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Procedure

  1. Combine vinegar, soy sauce, sugar and pepper. Mix well. Stir in oils. Blend well and set aside.
  2. Toss vegetables with dressing. Transfer to a salad bowl or individual salad plates. Top with beef strips, tofu and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
Makes 2 to 3 servings.
