Vegetable roll or commonly as "lumpia" in the Philippines is an all time pinoy favorite. The perfect "pinoy" side dish for the Filipino family.

Ingredients

2 tbsp DARI CREME CLASSIC
1/2 cup togue
1/2 cup chopped sitsaro
1/2 cup chopped carrots
iodized fine salt and pepper to taste
6 pc Vietnamese rice wrappers
6 pc lettuce leaves
1/4 cup fish sauce (patis)
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp sugar

Procedure

  1. In a pan, heat margarine and sauté vegetables. Season with salt and pepper. Let cool.
  2. Spray rice wrapper with water. Place lettuce and sautéed vegetables then roll. Cut into 6.
  3. In a bowl, combine fish sauce, lemon juice and sugar. Serve with vegetable roll.
Makes 6 servings.
